Mojito Tasting Party

Doņa Emilia's Bar & Grill, a downtown favorite located at 101 San Jacinto will host a private Mojito & Caribbean food tasting on Wednesday, November 5th at 6:30PM. This delicious celebration of the minty Cuban classic along with some fun new twists.

Tickets for the tasting cost $25 per person. A portion of the event's proceeds will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services.

For the event we will be tasting four (4) different mojitos:

  • Traditional Classic with lime
  • Melon made with Watermelon cubes
  • Peach made with fresh stonewall peaches
  • Orange made with orange slices

The mojitos will be pared with some Doņa Emilia's Caribbean favorites that will delight all your senses with exotic flavors.

  • Plantain Chips Sliced, seasoned & lightly fried, served with Dona Emilia's signature salsas
  • Empanadas, Traditional South American turnovers: Beef & Potato and Vegetable
  • Queso de Cabra, Texas goat cheese, sweetened with panela sauce, with grilled arepa wedges
  • Patacones Rellenos, Fried green plantains stuffed with beef or chicken, topped with mozzarella
